Beautiful Mercedes-Benz 300 SL coupé in an extremely rare color scheme and with prominent provenance. Only ten vehicles were delivered in medium blue (DB 350) - one of the rarest specifications of this iconic model. The car was delivered to New York on June 20, 1955 and, according to the 300 SL Register, was in the possession of just one owner, Mr. Ronald G. Brock from Paradise Valley, Arizona, for decades. With a total mileage of less than 50,000 miles, this 300 SL presents itself as a particularly original example with original light gray leather interior (955) and matching luggage set. The gullwing changed hands for the last time in 1991 and was registered to the world-famous car collector and publisher Umberto Panini, in whose important collection in Italy the vehicle remained until 2022. The Mercedes-Benz 300 SL was then transferred to HK-ENGINEERING, where it underwent an extensive restoration. It was given an original nitro paint job in the rare color mid-blue, the original interior was carefully refurbished and the original technology underwent major maintenance - always with strict adherence to maximum originality.
