At the 49th Oldtimer Grand Prix at the Nürburgring from August 12 to 14, all Mercedes 300 SLs entered in the race of racing and sports cars up to model year 62 were placed among the top ten vehicles.
At the Le Mans Classic from 30 Jun to 3 July 2022 Christian Pfessdorf was able to take an excellent 5th place in the overall field in his racing Gullwing and was the fastest among the GT cars. This success is all the more remarkable as the Le Mans Classic features the best racing cars in the world and there are 75 vehicles at the start in each grid (year of manufacture group)!
The 2nd HK Gullwing with the newcomers Dr. Michael Schaude and Tom Fischer occupied 22nd place overall.
